As well, the student should explore effective ways of spreading awareness of the advantages of solar panels on homes to neighbors, friends, and family so that these individuals may also take advantage of the savings and contribute to the cumulative environmental benefits. Any useful statistics that the student wishes to share regarding the trends in home solar panel retrofitting, which parts of the country are the savviest in this regard, and what the outlook for the future is projected to be are most welcome. Finally, any unique additional considerations that have to do with the assigned topic will be of great interest to the scholarship board, and will aid the student in setting his or her essay apart from the rest.
